Fishing

We are located 16 miles northeast of Park Rapids and are one of the headwaters of the Mantrap Valley ``Chain of Lakes".

Big Mantrap Lake is a 1700 acre body of meandering blue waters which has many bays and islands. Each has its own isolated beauty.

We have Muskie, Northern Pike, Large and Small Mouth Bass, Crappies and Sunfish.

Equipment

One 14' deluxe fishing boat with a 20 hp motor, one 15' deluxe fishing boat with a 20 hp motor, a 20' Sun Catcher pontoon and a 20' Weeres Fisherman pontoon available for rent. These items should be reserved with your initial cabin reservation.

Please bring life preservers, or we do have some for rent.

Storage

For your convenience, included with your boat or dock rental is a locker for fishing gear located near the dock areas. We do not furnish a lock, you may bring your own.

We also have electrical outlets located near the dock areas for recharging batteries. Batteries can be charged in your boat with the use of a 100' extension cord. Please bring your battery charger and extension cord.

Fish Cleaning

We have a deluxe fish cleaning house for you to use.
